DNA Genetics created Chocolope by cross-breeding a Chocolate Thai sativa with the excellent Cannalope sativa – a combination that is slowly starting to become a fan favorite in Dutch coffeeshops.
There is a reason this strain bears the label “all-day smoke” – its uplifting and energizing high provide the perfect boost. With a clear-headed high that helps encourage focus and creativity, Chocolope is a suitable companion for tackling daily tasks.
Chocolope Terpene Profile
Chocolope’s flavor and scent profile are almost that of pastry. The chocolate and coffee-like fragrance of its mother, Chocolate Thai, is coupled with a light hint of vanilla and the earthy aroma of its Cannalope genetics, giving it somewhat of a nutty quality.
Medical Benefits Chocolope
Ongoing research has suggested that high THC and low CBD strains may have potential benefits including reducing fatigue and relieving symptoms of Glaucoma. Although thought to be more effective when working together with CBD, THC is also understood to have some pain-relieving properties on its own. Considering this, this high THC strain may also provide some relief from general aches and pains.
How to Grow Chocolope
Even though Chocolope is quite susceptible to mold and mildew, it’s a fairly easy plant to cultivate. As long as the plant is kept well ventilated, growers will be rewarded with a high yield. The Chocolope plants will grow very tall, so make sure to reserve a lot of headroom. Chocolope has a flowering time of 8-9 weeks.
