Nearly pure sativa, this hybrid strain is and an ideal choice for wake and bake. If that’s your style, of course, known for its ability to make you feel more than euphoric.
Heritage: 80% sativa and 20% indica, in the early 2000’s Euforia, was developed in the labs of Amsterdam based Dutch Passion Seeds. She is a slightly sweeter and more sativa leaning phenotype of the Skunk #1 family tree. Euforia (not to be mistaken for the Royal Queen’s version, named “Euphoria”) has become very popular in both recreational circles and medicinal fields, accumulating many coveted awards including, the 2000 High Times Cannabis Cup and also the Best Seeds HighLife Cup in 2002.
Flavor and aroma: Although Euforia has Skunk genetics, it has less of a funk than one would expect. It has a musky and particularly fresh fruity aroma, with slight hints of sour undertones accompanied by a woodsy and fruity taste that continues on the exhale. Some cannaisseurs have even reported getting a whiff of cinnamon on the exhale.
Effect: As you can tell by its name, Euforia is a nice get-away strain for any sativa lover looking to enjoy it’s cerebral effects. It’s initial high is extremely potent and almost instant, which leaves consumers with an energizing effect that targets the mind, accompanied by contagious enthusiasm and laughter. Whether at work, school, or a gathering, when things need to get done, the long-lasting social and creative boost induced by this strain makes it a perfect use to improve users productivity and channel their energy the right way.
Medical: Both THC and CBD have been found to have pain-relieving qualities that are thought to amplify when the cannabinoids work together. CBD is also known for its anti-inflammatory properties. These effects combined may be useful for arthritis, joint pain, fibromyalgia, and headaches and migraines.
Grow Characteristics: This strain is surprisingly easy to cultivate. With such strong sativa genetics, it thrives in dry and sunny outdoor climates and produces especially hardy plants resistant to standard diseases and mildews and adverse conditions like temperature variations. Plants can have a very long flowering time of about 9 weeks, however, Euforia offers beautifully sea green leaves that shoot through its elongated flower bundles. It also has a good calyx to leaf ratio, which makes trimming a simple task for growers during the cultivation process. With a trichome coating so thick, this strain gives buds a silvery-white sheen which may require a quality grinder, so don’t cheat yourself out of a good grind and time.
