Night Queen Genetics
The exact parentage of Night Queen has been a closely guarded secret, all that is known for sure is that Dutch Passion´s notorious master breeder, Hank van Dalen, created this almost pure indica in 1987 as a medicinal strain: she’s been beloved of indica fans and medical users ever since.
Night Queen Effects
A powerful and hard hitting indica, Night Queen will come on quick and make you feel very stoned indeed. As an old school variety, she’s potent with seductive flavors that can be moreish. Even for experienced tokers she can be best used in small quantities, and soporific if taken in larger doses. The introspective, mind-wandering quality of the high is pleasant and dreamy.
Night Queen Terpene Profile
A taste sensation, if you love hash this is definitely one for you. The strong hashish, earth and spice aromas all come out in the taste too, which is decidedly sweet and herby with hints of citrus.
Medical Benefits Night Queen
Ongoing research has found that in higher doses THC may help with Glaucoma, by reducing pressure in the eye. THC and CBD have also been found to have pain-relieving qualities that are thought to amplify when the cannabinoids work together. Meanwhile, CBD is known for its anti-inflammatory properties. Considering this, this high THC, moderate CBD strain may be somewhat useful for relieving pain and inflammation often experienced with joint pain, arthritis, headaches and migraines.
How to Grow Night Queen
Dutch Passion stopped selling the original Night Queen for nearly 10 years! The knockout, body-high went out of fashion for a time as clients experimented with new hybrids. When connoisseurs started requesting her she was reintroduced. Fast flowering and easy-to-grow she’s hardy to pests, molds and fungus. Ideal for indoor growers, as she works well in a SOG/SCROG style grow and can produce a large yield. She’s also easy to take cuttings from and the mothers will be beautiful, dark green plants that border on black. Her bud is very frosty indeed, hard, dense and resinous. THC is high, but so is her CBD level – making her very well suited for medical grows.
