The Ultimate from Dutch Passion is a 50/50 hybrid, but it is the sativa effects that come through most strongly. She is known for her wonderful, sativa high, but also for her reliability and high yields as an indoor grow plant. One recommended for connaisseurs.
Heritage & Genetics: Dutch Passion are particularly proud of The Ultimate. They’ve bred her from closely guarded genetics to be a 50/50 hybrid that combines the best of a sativa high, with the amped-up growing potential of a strong and sturdy indica. The result: the highest producing phenotype they’ve got, that also manages to produce the finest quality effect.
Flavor & Aroma: The Ultimate has a wonderful, earthy aroma, that can be very pungent. There are hints of citrus and lemon in it that come through strongly in the flavor. Very soft on the throat, so she shouldn’t make you splutter.
Effect: With a name like The Ultimate you´re going to have some pretty high expectations of this strain´s effects. She shouldn’t disappoint you. Coming on in one big blast, she has a powerful onset that lifts you up on a wave of positivity. Very energetic and clear-headed. Take it easy though, this first rush doesn’t last long and gives way to a heavier head effect that can be dozy and thoughtful. Creeping down slowly into your body she will eventually zone you out completely leaving you in a happy but jumbled heap on the couch.
Medical: Ongoing research has suggested that high THC and low CBD strains may have potential benefits including relieving symptoms of Glaucoma. Although thought to be more effective when working together with CBD, THC is also understood to have some pain-relieving properties on its own. Considering this, this high THC strain may also provide some relief from general aches and pains.
Grow Characteristics: This is a real expert strain. The Ultimate doesn’t grow very tall, about a meter on average, making her ideal for indoor grows. She’s quick to flower, within eight to eleven weeks (max), and at the end of the period she has a burst of bud growth. With strong sativa genetics she needs looking after; think lots of nutrients during growing. She is meant to be pretty hardy to mold and bud-rot, so could be grown in a greenhouse too; and will be an ideal plant to take cuttings from. When she´s kept happy she will produce massive yields of potent, top-notch dark green nugs with lots of fuzzy, yellow hair, that are mega frosty.
